Miss Leah's Corner: Late Night Rantings

So I sit here awaiting Monday and the resuming of classes

. I'm such a nerd that I added another class last night to give me a total of 18 credit hours

. Whoo hoo? Alas, I am ready for school, my professors, and the chaos that I know will inevitably ensue due to another semester of 18 credits

. I welcome it. I enjoyed being so busy last semester

. This time I'm taking classes I know I'll love.

In other news, it's finally warming up again

, we had a horrible ice storm a few days ago

...it was a mess but as far as I know no one was hurt or killed in the aftermath of the ice

. It's all melted by now and I'm left debating whether or not to wash my car...again

. I just washed it last week!! I feel that it may be a lost cause.

Perhaps until March or April I'll have to settle on washing my precious car once a month? Sigh. I do love my car so. I like to think it loves me too...I don't care if that means I'm crazy, commit me.

Last night was the last episode of "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien"

. I feel like Coco has been seriously screwed out of his job

. Leno is funny and all, but I would much rather see Conan at 11:35 than Leno. I guess I'll have to get used to Leno again. I read an article the other day stating that this whole fiasco with NBC may have doomed the Tonight Show for good. We could see the end of it within this year...scary thought.

On the other end of that is Jimmy Falon. He's been hosting Late Night since last March when Coco left Late Night to prepare for what would be a short run as the host of the Tonight Show. He has had a very rocky start as host but I watched him last night after Coco faded out, and I have to admit that he's greatly improved already, he doesn't look as awkward when telling jokes or talking to guests. I think he's going to do very well in the future as the host of Late Night. We shall see.
